Conflict Management is a skill and it can be learned. It is critical to developing and maintaining healthy relationships. Sometimes a conflict/dispute arises in our work related or personal relationships that we find difficult to manage and has a negative impact on our lives. This can result in the deterioration of our relationship, increased levels of stress and anxiety, lack of sleep and/or potentially serious consequences for our careers and personal lives.

 

Conflict Management Coaching is an innovative structured, non directive interaction between the individual and the expert coach, focusing on managing personal responses and conflict behaviours. This programme is typically undertaken for a set period over a number of weeks and is focused on resolving, or helping the individual to manage, a specific dispute/conflict. Conflict coaching is especially useful in situations where sustaining key relationships is vital, e.g. family, workplace or mutually beneficial financial relationships.

 

Conflict Management Coaching can be delivered through a one to one meeting in person or over the telephone. Telephone coaching is a very effective option for individuals with busy lives. It avoids travel and minimises disruption to busy schedules. Satisfaction levels and client feedback is highly positive about telephone based coaching.

3 months Conflict Management Coaching by Phone:

Amicus is currently offering a 3 month conflict coaching programme to its clients at a discounted rate. The following terms and conditions apply:

 

  • The Conflict Management Coaching duration is 3 months
  • Within the 3 month period clients determine the frequency of telephone support from their conflict coach.
  • Typical patterns include:
    - Weekly sessions for 45mins-60 mins for the first month
    - Weekly sessions 15 mins – 30 mins for second month
    - Fortnightly sessions for 15mins-30 mins for third month
    This outline schedule is for example purposes only. Each client will determine
    their own schedule.
  • Payment is made in advance or can be paid in two instalments:
    - 50% on commencement
    - 50% at the beginning of month 2

Conflict Management Services:

  • Conflict Mentoring:  a service designed to enable the individual manage conflict in their lives through the support of a sustained relationship with an experienced trusted adviser.  Expert advice and information is provided to help the client explore and understand various options and processes available to them. Conflict mentoring is especially useful for individuals experiencing ongoing difficulties with particular relationships, e.g. family or the professions.

     

  • Conflict Consultancy: in a dispute or conflict situation, it sometimes helps to have the opportunity to talk over and review options for resolving the issue. A once off conflict consultancy offers an objective listening, expert advice and strategy discussion providing the individual with the support and confidence to tackle the problem.
